I joined Stoller Strides right after my younger daughter, Kate, turned two. I also have an almost 11 year old daughter, Natalie. I joined because I needed something to get me out of the house and to mix up our days. In the beginning, it was difficult. Both Kate and I were a HOT MESS. I was in a really dark place dealing with a challenging baby/toddler and post partum depression, that I hadn't experience with Natalie, feeling alone like a I was stranded on an island and no one else knew what I was going through. I knew this wasn't rational, but it was what I was feeling at the time.
Luckily, being part of this group and with a change I made, I was able to pull out of that dark place. Within a month, I could feel the shift and was on the track back to myself.
Our Village, whether they know it or not, is a HUGE part of this accomplishment .I'm not sure where I would be had I not found this amazing group of women. Certainly, not as happy as I am now. I love that we are surrounded by moms who are encouraging and there to lift you up. Kate also loves Stroller Strides and often talks about her SS friends.

Running Club is the perfect way to start running even if you have never run before and don't know where to start! Or maybe you are looking to get in some extra cardio into your fitness routine? Look no further than Running Club! You'll learn about running form, injury prevention, increasing speed and distance, and the importance of being in the right shoe for you. This program is designed for any level of runner, from beginner to expert. Our next session starts February 26th. Train for the Mud Run April 2nd and/or the Windsor 5k, 10k or Half Marathon on May 21st.
